REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN (CANADA). The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Regina Area, is seeking a team-oriented and professional Anatomical Pathologist to be part of our dynamic and expanding Department of Laboratory Medicine in Regina, Saskatchewan. The specialist will join us in an independent, contract position. The successful candidate will have responsibilities spanning across Regina General Hospital and Pasqua Hospital. In addition to clinical services, the successful candidate is expected to participate and be actively involved in on-call requirements.
Compensation:
· Contract (Approximate annual income of $357,169 to $406,994)
· Commensurate with the provincially negotiated grid level maximum of 203 days of service
· Plus additional annual fee of $25,000 for 203 days of service
· Relocation assistance is available for a one-year return of service agreement
Qualifications:
The candidate will hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Anatomical and/or General Pathology. Successful applicants will be eligible for regular licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high-volume environment with a commitment to the provision of high-quality patient and family-centred care.
The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Laboratory Medicine in the Regina Area.
