2023 Annual Business Meeting

Notice of OAP Annual Business Meeting

Pursuant to the General By-law of the Ontario Association of Pathologists, this is formal notice of the 2023 OAP Annual General Meeting of the Association’s membership. This notice is to be shared to all OAP members.

The 2023 Annual General Meeting will be held by on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, commencing at 13:00 ET or shortly thereafter for the purpose of:

  1. Receiving the Minutes of the 2023 Annual Meeting that was held virtually on Tuesday May 17, 2022
  2. Receiving the Financial Statements for the 2022 Fiscal Year.
  3. Appointment of an Auditor for the 2023 Fiscal Year.
  4. Ratification of the Board of Directors for the term 2023-2024 as submitted.
  5. Update from the President, Corwyn Rowsell, on the OAP activities.

Please note this AGM is restricted to voting delegates (OAP members). Non-members are invited to attend the Awardee presentations however cannot vote. 
During this AGM, voting delegates (OAP members) will have the ability to vote and interact with our Board of Directors during our designated Q&A periods. We encourage that Questions be submitted, by email in advance, to allow the Board members to prepare.

Reminder, you must be a member in good standing to vote.   You can only vote if your 2023 membership dues have been remitted.

We will begin with presentations from our 2022 award recipients:

  • 1200 - 1225 - Dr. Russel Price, Recipient - 2022 President's Award
  • 1230 - 1245 - Dr. Aaron Pollett, Recipient - 2022 Distinguished Pathologist Award.
  • 1245 - 1255 - Dr. Bryan HyoChan Song, Resident Poster Award Recipient (AP PGY5)
  • 1255 - 1330 - Exciting business meeting
