Quinte Health is seeking to fill a full-time Pathology position in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Belleville General Hospital, starting on or after January 1, 2025.
Candidates must have completed C and have Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.
Quinte Health has an excellent group of pathology assistants and medical laboratory technologists.
Care is provided through four hospitals: Belleville General Hospital, North Hastings Hospital, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital and Trenton Memorial Hospitals. This includes four emergency departments, operating rooms at three sites, inpatient services (including acute medicine, intensive care, obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, complex continuing care, rehabilitation and surgery), a rehabilitation day hospital, children’s treatment center, ambulatory care clinics, community mental health programs, and a range of diagnostic services.
This area includes some of the most diverse and beautiful countryside in Ontario. From the lakes of Bancroft down to the wine country of Prince Edward County, picturesque towns, Sandbanks Provincial Park, and through the more urban Belleville/Quinte West/Brighton corridor alongside Lake Ontario, almost every lifestyle interest can be found within the communities served by Quinte Health. Belleville and Quinte West are located along the highway 401 corridor, and Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Kingston are all within an easy driving distance.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed residency training in Pathology and hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Additionally, candidates must be registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
