Full-Time Staff Pathologist

FULL-TIME STAFF PATHOLOGIST

Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) Department of Laboratory Medicine is looking for a Full-Time Staff Pathologist to join our team of hospital employee pathologists.  We have surgical, autopsy and general pathology services, receiving nearly 11,000 surgical cases per year, including breast, gastrointestinal, gynecological, genitourinary and skin oncologic resections. Our department complement is expected to expand as the surgical program grows.

Successful candidate must have licensure to practice in Ontario and certification in either general or anatomic pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.   Fellowship training or subspecialty interest in dermatopathology, gynecological pathology or cytology including program development, would be considered a valuable asset, but all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. 

Cambridge Memorial Hospital is a 180-bed community hospital with 1300 staff, 265 Medical/Professional Staff and over 500 volunteers.  CMH has recently completed an exciting Capital Redevelopment Project with brand new facilities in Emergency, Critical Care, Inpatient Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Mental Health.
