The Department combines academic, research, and service components, holds an accredited General Pathology residency training program while also providing training at the undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral levels. Locum Pathologist

The Peterborough Regional Health Center is seeking a locum pathologist to join our laboratory medicine team for up to 10 months with the possibility of a future employment opportunity. As a regional center, PRHC services patients in the city of Peterborough as well as surrounding community hospitals. Our collegial group of 9 pathologists is currently looking for a part-time or full-time locum to cover anatomic pathology services. The Laboratory Medicine Program of the University Health Network (UHN) is seeking an Anatomical Pathologist with diagnostic and research expertise in neoplastic and non-neoplastic, including transplant, thoracic/lung pathology.  An established track record of research in transplant or lung cancer is welcome.  The successful candidate will join a large academic laboratory faculty with diverse diagnostic expertise, teaching responsibilities, basic and clinical research activities. Subspecialty fellowship training is preferred. There is an immediate need for an Anatomic or General Pathologist with an interest in renal pathology, to support medical renal biopsy sign-out, due to an impending vacancy. Other areas of interest include head and neck, pulmonary, gastrointestinal and liver, and molecular pathology, though fellowship training is not essential, and otherwise strong candidates will also be considered.
