General or Anatomical Pathologist (Locum / Potential Permanent Position)

This position is based in Orillia with responsibility for General or Anatomical pathology working in a knowledgeable and cohesive team environment. Long-term locum position with future potential for a permanent position. We have a well-equipped lab including many immunohistochemical stains which help us with an interesting variety of pathology cases from our colleagues in general surgery, urology, ENT, respirology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, radiology, oncology, internal medicine, nephrology and general practice. We also see hematology specimens (lymph nodes, bone marrow and blood smears) and perform medicolegal and hospital autopsies.
